As always, you can look forward to the promise of comics, good conversation, and of course donuts! Our large library of comic books and graphic novels has just about a little of everything for everyone, so please feel free to peruse our stacks. We also have a large amount of free comic books and graphic novels for attendees to go through and take home. And did we mention that this event is FREE!

Feel free to bring friends, family, and of course delicious snacks if you’re so inclined. Pooches are welcome too! We have plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the studio.

New Class: Digital Art & Tips!

Newly added to our every-growing class roster, please check out Digital Art & Tips! Wednesdays, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, under the instruction of new Teaching Artist Maia Hager.

About our Digital Art & Tips Class: This class is for students interested in learning about practical illustration through the medium of Digital Art. Students will learn advanced art fundamentals while also getting the opportunity to have a more hands-on learning experience by doing projects related to Concept Art, Illustration, Comic Creation, and Animation . The goal of this class is to provide students with the knowledge and confidence to be able to problem solve and aim for even more ambitious projects in the future.

Horror & Hilarity in Comics! Fridays, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, under the instruction of Teaching Artist Alex Hoey.

About our Horror & Hilarity in Comics Class: This class goes over the physical and mental process of making comics that are humorous, terrifying, or even both! Forge stories and draw from personal experience in your creative endeavors.

New Class: 2D ANIMATION!

Starting as of 1/5/25, we've added a brand new class to our ever-growing roster: STORYBOARDING CLASS! 11:30am to 1:30pm, under the instruction of Teaching Artist Zy.

About our Storyboarding Class: An introduction to the tools, tricks and skills used in storyboarding, one of the most important skills for today's artists. Incorporates drawing, planning and demos!

Adventurers, our DND n' COMICS is your next quest!

This special class is under the instruction of Assistant Lead Teaching Artist Serena.

About our DND n' Comics Class: In this class students will participate in character creation and illustration, play one-shot dnd sessions, and proceed to make comics about the events that occurred during their game! Through these exercises students will practice creating as an individual and working collaboratively to then experience and tell a story in comic-format.

*This class is perfect for DND beginners! Preferably, students have some art-making experience/are comfortable with drawing. This class will be a slightly longer; sometimes taking more than 4 weeks to complete a cycle. And as such, is not as easy to drop into.
